1. "While we don’t have all the facts and our focus must be on the victims, this is yet another senseless and horrific act of violence involving guns. We as a society must unify and once and for all crack down on the guns that have cost the lives of far too many innocent Americans. Let this terrible tragedy finally be the wake-up call for aggressive action and I pledge my full support in that effort."
  2. Indifferent power.

  3. Anand Shimpi, has done another one of his remarkable “previews” to his actual review to the iPhone 5. And the iPhone 5 stacks as the best smartphone, leapfrogging on specs and performance. Overall, it will provide a better experience, but won’t mean much to the user.

    The specs game is over.

  4. I had written about Apple adopting gimmickry in its advertisement, a few months back. And then the whole Apple Olympics ads fiasco happened (and got taken down by Apple, after an outcry).

These ads however, seem simple, and very-Apple-like. The product is the focus, with the weirdly pleasing sound of Jeff Daniels narrating.

  5. For its 30th anniversary, USA Today redesigned its entire fleet for its 1.8 Million readers. Fantastic work.
